Event AV production in Boulder during the Sundance Film Festival

Earth Coast Productions provides event AV production in Boulder, Colorado during the Sundance Film Festival (January 21–31, 2027): audio, lighting, screens, live switching, and the crew to run a panel, a party, or a premiere-adjacent event in a hotel ballroom, restaurant buyout, theater, or tented space. We are based in Broomfield and have produced Front Range events since 2011.

How it works

Event AV — Panels, Parties, Premieres, festival week

We spec the room from the run of show backwards: what the audience needs to hear and see, what the host needs on the confidence monitor, what the sponsor needs on screen, and what the recording needs afterwards. We can bring the entire system or supplement what the venue already has, and we coordinate directly with venue operations, planners, caterers, and lighting designers so load-in and strike stay inside the windows the venue allows.

Year-round, this is our Audio visual services work; during January 21–31, 2027 it is scheduled around the festival's screenings, press days, and receptions in Boulder.

What's included

  • Front-of-house and monitor audio with wireless mics for panelists and hosts
  • Stage and ambient lighting that reads on camera and in the room
  • Screens, projection, playback, and presenter support
  • Live switching and a program recording of every session
  • Show calling and run-of-show management
  • Certificate of insurance on request — most Boulder venues require one

Who books this

  • Brand activation agencies producing lounges and sponsor events
  • Corporate and association hosts staging festival-week panels
  • Publicists and distributors hosting premiere-night receptions
  • Hotels, restaurants, and venues that need a production partner for buyouts

FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer full AV services?

Yes — full-service AV from microphones to projectors, staging, and lighting. We can bring all of it, or supplement what your venue already provides. Whatever the room needs, we'll spec it, source it, and run it.

Which Boulder venues allow an outside production company during festival week?

Policies vary by room, and festival programming may change what a venue can host during January 21–31, 2027. Earth Coast Productions maintains a free Colorado venue directory that records each venue's outside-AV policy, capacity, and production notes, including Boulder rooms such as the Boulder Theater, eTown Hall, the Dairy Arts Center, Hotel Boulderado, and the St Julien. Confirm directly with the venue and with Earth Coast Productions before signing a space for festival week.

Do you work with our existing venue and other vendors?

Yes. We're used to coordinating with venue AV teams, event planners, lighting designers, decor, catering, and speaker bureaus. Good production happens when the whole vendor team is rowing in the same direction — we know how to be part of that.

Are you insured?

Fully insured, with general liability and equipment coverage. We're happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance for your venue or organization on request — most venues require one, and we have it ready.

Is Earth Coast Productions affiliated with the Sundance Film Festival?

No. Earth Coast Productions is an independent production company based in Broomfield, Colorado, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sundance Institute. The company offers its services to brands, publicists, media outlets, and event hosts who are producing their own events and content in Boulder during festival week.
