Privacy Policy

The short version

  • We never sell your personal information.
  • We use the analytics and advertising tools listed in section 3, in line with standard industry practice, to understand how the site is used and to deliver the best service to our clients. Those tools receive information about your visit, as described there.
  • What you write in our forms goes to our team and the providers in section 4. The tools in section 3 learn that a form was sent, not what it said.
  • You can opt out of each tool, unsubscribe from email, or ask us to delete your information at any time.

This policy covers earthcoast.com and the event platforms Earth Coast Productions runs for clients, such as our livestream and virtual event pages ("event platforms"). "We" and "us" mean Earth Coast Productions, LLC, a Colorado company. Questions go to connect@earthcoast.com.

1. Information you give us

  • Contact and booking forms: your name, email, organization, and what you tell us about your project, budget and timeline. We use it to reply and to prepare a quote.
  • Newsletter: your email address, used only to send the newsletter until you unsubscribe.
  • Discovery calls: the details you enter when booking a call through Cal.com.
  • Chat: messages you send through the chat on our site, handled by our own chat system.
  • Event registration: when you register for an event we produce, the details the registration form asks for, such as your name, email and organization.
  • Text messages: your mobile number if you opt in to SMS updates (section 6).

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work, such as remembering your light or dark theme and keeping you signed in to an event. Others come from the analytics and advertising tools in section 3, which collect technical information about your visit: pages viewed, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your IP address.

3. Analytics and advertising tools

We use these tools in line with standard industry practice, to understand how the site is used and to deliver the best service to our clients. Each provider handles the information under its own privacy policy and may combine it with information it already holds, for example from your account with that provider.

Google Tag Manager (Google)

Why: Loads Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our pages.

What it collects: Nothing on its own beyond what the tools it loads collect, plus technical details needed to deliver the scripts, such as your IP address.

Google Analytics 4 (Google)

Why: Counts visits and shows which pages and forms are used, so we can improve the site.

What it collects: Pages viewed, how you arrived, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and events such as form submissions and phone-link clicks. Kept for 14 months.

Google Ads conversion and call tracking (Google)

Why: Tells us whether our Google ads led to an inquiry or a phone call, so we only pay for ads that work.

What it collects: Whether a visit that came from a Google ad went on to submit a form or tap our phone number. For call tracking, Google may show visitors who arrived from an ad a Google forwarding number, so it can count the call; the call still reaches us.

Meta Pixel (Meta (Facebook and Instagram))

Why: Measures our Facebook and Instagram ads and lets us show ads to people who visited the site.

What it collects: Pages viewed and inquiries submitted, linked by Meta to your Meta account if you have one.

LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn)

Why: Measures our LinkedIn ads and shows us which industries and job functions visit the site.

What it collects: Pages viewed and conversions such as form submissions, linked by LinkedIn to your LinkedIn account if you have one. We see only aggregate reports, never who you are.

Opt out: LinkedIn advertising settings

Leadfeeder (Dealfront)

Why: Shows us which organizations visit the site, based on the business network they connect from.

What it collects: Your IP address, which Leadfeeder matches to a company name, and the pages viewed. It identifies organizations, not individual people.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site.

4. Who processes your information

We never sell your personal information. Beyond the tools in section 3, it is handled only by:

  • Our team and the contractors who work on your project, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Mailgun, which delivers the messages you send through our contact form to our team.
  • Brevo, which stores booking requests and newsletter sign-ups and sends our emails.
  • Cal.com, which schedules discovery calls you book with us.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site, runs Turnstile spam checks on our forms, and counts traffic without cookies.
  • Vimeo, which plays the videos embedded on our pages, set to Vimeo's do-not-track mode.
  • Umami, which privacy-friendly page counts, self-hosted on our own server, with no cookies.
  • Event organizers: when you register for or attend an event we produce for a client, your registration details and attendance are shared with that client, the organizer of the event.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, or where needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, visitors or Earth Coast.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of individual tools with the links in section 3, or block cookies in your browser.
  • Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing connect@earthcoast.com. Step-by-step: data deletion instructions.

6. SMS and text messaging

Earth Coast Productions respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to the following terms regarding how we handle your data:

  • Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates.
  • Data Usage: We use your data solely for sending updates, and reminders related to our products or services.
  • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion at any time.
  • MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages.
  • Frequency: Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.
  • Support: Contact Earth Coast Productions at (720) 515-7215 or connect@earthcoast.com for HELP or to STOP receiving messages.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing, or replying STOP or CANCEL.
  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes. Earth Coast Productions will not sell, rent, or share the collected mobile numbers.

7. Event platform accounts

When you register for an event on one of our event platforms, we use your details to give you access, send event reminders and recordings, and report attendance to the event organizer (section 4). You can see and correct your details in your event account, or ask us to delete the account by emailing connect@earthcoast.com.

8. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and project correspondence for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period after, for our records. Newsletter and SMS details are kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

9. Security

We use established technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss and unauthorized access, and we limit access to the people and providers who need it for the purposes above.

10. Children

Our site and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Changes

We will update this policy when our practices change and show the new date at the top of this page.
